About Anne

Anne learned to cook at 4 years old for survival. While this started as a joke about her mom's specific combination of Californian health cuisine and Minnesotan cooking that avoided all salt and oil, food became a more serious topic when she discovered she had hypoglycemia and other disorders heavily managed by diet and lifestyle. Further, growing up in a Jewish household, food became a personal topic and a way to connect to others both in the modern day and throughout history. At college, meeting other students with diverse backgrounds and eating requirements, Anne became aware of how complex and nuanced each person’s relationship to food was and how healing it was to the student community to take these variables into consideration.

Anne uses her 10 years of professional medical training combined with a multiculturally aware approach to create personalized health plans. She has an extensive background in science, including a Post-Baccalaureate Pre-Medical certificate from Thomas Jefferson University and a certificate in Nutrition and Healthy Living from Cornell. She stays up to date with the most recent studies and maintenance protocols to assist clients with cutting-edge evidence-based care. Anne believes that health is a personal journey and the outcome is different for every client, determined by that client. Food is not a moral topic so there are no good and bad foods, just ones that help in different ways for desired outcomes. The goal is to make food and one's relationship with food fun and exciting no matter where the path together takes us.
